Description Mark Dickie 2004-10-12 21:49:09 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

It would be good if as well as showing unread and total messages in selected folders on the summary page it could show other information. This could be the results of filters run on the messages in folders and how many important emails a folder includes. Also how many messages meet special summary filter rules.

In order to prevent Kontact from showing too many events in the summary window it should be possible to select an own filter for the summary. At the moment the filter which is selected for the calendar does automatically get applied to the summary as well.
Comment 2 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-05-07 11:28:51 UTC
At the moment there is an additional inconsistency about the application of filters in the summary:
On startup no filter is applied.
After going to the calendar and back to the summary the standrad filter of the calendar gets applied to the summary!
Comment 3 Elmar Stellnberger (AT/K) 2007-05-07 11:42:26 UTC
Moreover events do not get showed in the summary until Kontact is restarted.
