Description Pedro Palhoto Matos 2004-10-12 00:05:31 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
Compiler: gcc (GCC) 3.3.4 20040623 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.4-r1, ssp-3.3.2-2, pie-8.7.6)
OS: Linux

Whenever I want to say I am busy to everybody else I need to tell MSN, ICQ and Jabber that I want "Busy", "Occupied" and "Do not disturb", respectively.

This way people understand I'm working.

The only way possible (globally) at the moment is to select in kopete's "Status", "Set Away Globally", with "Sorry, I am busy right now" as the comment. As people usually send messages when I am in an "away" state (to leave a message), they don't understand that I'd rather not be disturbed.

There should be a Kopete Status option "Set Busy Globally" with two sub-options: "Sorry, I am occupied at the moment" and "Please, do not disturbed, I am occupied", or something like that. These sub-options distinguish between the ICQ "Occupied" and "Do Not Disturb"; and possibly AIM, but I don't use it. "Set Available Globally should undo the corresponding busy states in all protocols.

Thanks.
