(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kcontrol
Version: v2.0pre (KDE 1.93 Beta >= 20000813)
Severity: grave

There does not seem to be a way to map a canadian biligual keyboard with 1.93. xkeycaps
with a pc105 wide delete tall enter CF mapping works under straigth X but KDE seems to
insist on remapping to a default US keyboard even when X is set to map correctly and there
does not seem to be a way to select the correct mapping from the control panel. KDE 1 works
correctly

Ed Tomlinson <tomlins(at)cam.org> (I cannot find the (at) key...)

PS. it seems that this bug reporting screen will submit bugs without asking for a confirmation.
did this to me once leading to an incomplete report.... BTW I DO like what I see in 1.93 and
really look forward to 2.0! Good Work.

I'm fairly sure this has been fixed since the pre-2.0 days. Closing then.
