Description menschmeier 2004-09-29 18:33:38 UTC
Version: 1.7 (using KDE 3.2.3, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.1 (Mandrakelinux (Alpha 3.4.1-3mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1

I am missing the option to keep the PGP password in memory, so I have to enter it only once if I send some signed messages.

In the KMail version I used before this option exists. Is there a (security) reason to remove this feature? Or is this feature "hidden" somewhere?

KMail itself doesn't hold the passphrase in memory anymore for security reasons,
but you can use gpg-agent to do that for you. The dialog where you type the password
should even tell you about that...
