Description Marcin Orlowski 2004-09-29 18:31:04 UTC
Version: 0.9.0 (using KDE 3.3.0, (3.1))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-12)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8.1

Since I don't use any text formatting, "Format Toolbar" is quite useless for me and I prefer to keep it hidden to save my display space. Unfortunately Kopete does not allow to determine permanently that format toolbar shall be by default hidden so whenever I run Kopete or got new chat window opened I got that toolbar back. Please add an option to specify its default state (shown/hidden)

A duplicate of the many other bugs that have reported this problem.
Please look through the bug database next time when reporting a bug.
This is fixed for KDE 3.3.1/Kopete 0.9.1

I still have this same problem with KDE 4.0.8 and Kopete 0.5.8. Not fixed so.

It's been fixed recently, see bug 59080. According to the revision number of the fix I think it should be available with KDE 4.0.6 (4.0.8 is not out yet).
