Version:           1.3.3 (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.1 (SuSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.4.21-243-athlon

In SuSE 9.0 when writes an accent and a vowel they don't work.

Example: camión  
In Kword (es-euro): camion  
In Kword (utf8):    cami'on

My language is Spanish and my keyboard layout is la-latin. This error also happen in SuSE 9.1 in different computers and configurations, but i can write the accents correctly in Kmail, OppenOffice and others.
This fails is persistent in SUSE packages from Koffice 1.3.2-X until Koffice 1.3.3-3

For me it sounds like bugs #88102 and #88151

As you are using SuSE, I suppose that it is more a duplicate of bug #88151.

There Waldo Bastian has closed the bug with the comment:
"This is probably caused by a bug in the SUSE Qt package (immodule patch). (SUSE BR44633)"
