Description Swami NadaBrahmananda 2004-09-17 22:52:48 UTC
Version:           1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrakelinux 10.0 3.3.2-7mdk)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-4mdk

Some people use the "Incredimail" program in Windows for E-Mail. It has the capability of displaying all kinds of fancy backgrounds, from .gifs etc. However, when received in KMail, all this stuff is simply relegated to thumbnails at the bottom of the preview screen.

Could this be changed so backgrounds and included sound files etc work properly?

Also, could we have a way to downsize the heading for the preview screen. Maybe a much smaller alternative in the list to choose from? It really takes much too much space on the screen.

Thanks.

You should be able to 'downsize the heading' by selecting View->Headers->Brief Headers.

The fancy background request is a duplicate of bug 6710 I think.
