If i deactivate autoconnect everything is fine again. Tested with one jabber connection active, and two irc connections.

I have a similar problem, except when AIM trys to connect on Startup, it auto 
closes the program.  not to mention it does the same thing when sending a msg 
via IRC.

I have ICQ and IRC and I experience the same problem (Kopete 9.1).
