Description Daniel Frein 2004-09-08 15:19:45 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

kmail in kde 3.3 doesn't allow drag'n'drop of emails. After dropping an email to the desktop or konqueror (and asking for a name of the file) only a small file (around 160bytes) is created. this file contains parts of the sender, subject, recipient and is not ascii-encoded (every second byte is 0x00):

I don't know if this is related but during testing d'n'd of emails to konqueror konqueror somtimes crashed (before releasing the mouse button), and sometimes also kmail.
