Description R. pao 2004-09-04 19:30:24 UTC
Version: k3b-0.11.12-1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs

Burn DVD from ISO image will immediately calculate the md5sum. Then I burn it with Verify checked. The md5sum for the ISO image should not need to be calculated all over again. It should be sufficient to see the ISO image's file modification time did not change, so the md5sum should still be valid.

There should also be an option to calculate a disc's md5sum (this would be a compare function, not a copy function) so we can compare it against an ISO image or a previously calculated/known md5sum say in a text file.

This is a duplicate of Bug 82843. I don't know how to set the status to duplicate.
