I'd say this is what disconnected imap is supposed to solve, so please give it a try. Unfortunatly when I use dIMAP I can't subscribe to any folder so I cannot test it. It seams what I want but I couldn't use it yet. I'll try to upgrade when I get a faster connection. Anyway it would make more sense to me if it was just an option. An whole protocol abstraction just to make the messages localy seam extreme (more unnecessary and confuse). Just my opinion and I not familiar with the history behind dIMAP. |
