Description Carsten Milkau 2004-08-30 13:58:17 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I would really encourage a change in arrangment of the summary view. Currently, it seems as if the component order is hard-coded as well as the components are arranged in a table-like strukture. This is really ugly and unnecessarily space-consuming in the (common) case of very different component heights.

I use a screen resolution of 1280x960 and if in fullsize, although only about 50% of the screen are actually used by content, the summary view does not fit on the screen. You can reproduce this (for example) by activating all plugins, using multiple weather stations, several birthdays, and multiple RSS feeds, but quite few "notes" or "tasks" (appointments).

However, (though quite annoying) this is not really breaking something, thus deferred to wishlist. Thanks the good work done.

Proposition: the (generic) positions of the components in summary view could be kept, but both columns should be arranged independently.
