Description Alexandre Bonneau 2004-08-25 03:13:50 UTC
Version: 0.14.0-3 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: version gcc 3.3.4 (Debian 1:3.3.4-9) Linux AciD 2.6.8.1 #2 Wed Aug 25 00:32:46 CEST 2004 i686 GNU/Linux
OS: Linux

It would be really interresting if we could tile the channel windows, but unlike kvirc, it would be far better to use specific window borders for the channel window. Those window borders must be thin (or 'height-selectable') because it's not really handy when you have more than 6 channels titled.

Of course once the user has place (manually or not) the windows, he could save the layout for future use.

Since we have descided in our design discussions that we'd go about implementing "MDI" by doing the detachable tabs thing, putting the responsibility of window management into the window manager's hands, I'm closing this.
