Description Roman Pearce 2004-08-24 05:55:11 UTC
Version: Kmix 2.1 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux

If "Enable system tray volume control" is disabled, kmix does not restore volumes after a reboot. It sets everything to muted, which is the default. This does not occur if the system tray volume control is enabled. BTW, I *REALLY* appreciate the UI improvements to Kmix in KDE 3.3.

I have the same question when i put kmix.desktop in ~/.kde/Autostart/, but the strange thing is kmix can show correct volumes when i run kmix manually after kde started。

I am having this problem as well, It's very annoying having to manually set the volume levels every time after restarting kde.

I am having this problem as well with KDE 3.3 packages from Debian unstable.
