Using current debian unstable kde 3.3 kicker's systray applet sometimes seems to have its icons all spread out.  I.e. they take up whatever space is remaining on the panel.  Restarting X / KDE / kdm temporarily 
solves problem, but reoccurs when adjusting other panel applet's placement/size/etc.
