Status: RESOLVED DUPLICATE
Severity: wishlist

Description rred 2004-08-13 05:08:24 UTC
Version: 1.0.1-1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
Compiler: debian testing/unstable packages binaries
OS: Linux

This is a feature taken from my favorite mp3 jukebox, iTunes:

Alphabetic sorting should ignore the word "The" at the beginning of a band's name. Eg, "The Beatles" gets filed with other B bands like Beck and Beethoven. "The Animals", likewise, under A.

What do you think?
