It would be a nice feature to be able to change the font of the diary/journal in KOrganizer.

Either only in options, or perhaps even better - to turn it into a ritch text editor.

I'm marking this as resolved, as the rich text is already available throughout Kontact in KDE4 (at least 4.2.0).
