I have quite a long folderlist, and it's most of the time on the same position. Some folders are not in the viewport of the folderlist that way. Maybe it's nice to put a (small, subtil) notifier somewhere in the folderlist if there's a folder with unread messages out there which is not visible in the viewport. Maybe changing the arrows of the scrollbar to a certain color if that's the case.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
