I have one setup where the mouse is rarely used but the keyboard instead.

so two additions I was thinking of is

1) from a collection listing, [Enter] (definable) will recursively select items, just like d&d does now.

2) with a collection listing and a song listing the tab does not cycle between them but stay with the collection listing

It would be nice if one could hit CTRL+Enter or ALT+Enter (or the like) to open up the View/Edit Meta Information dialog for quick tag updates while reorganizing the playlist. AFAIK, at the moment you have to use the mouse to get there.
