this request is much like 42958.
I am receiving Dilbert Newsletter in a specific directory.
The answer to 42958 suggests to activate a html display for this
directory only etc etc. But the security setting about loading
external links remain general... What if I trust the mail received
in one directory and want to display it in HTML with external links loaded
and I don't trust the mail received in another directory but still want to
look at it in html, without loading any external links.

i got a related wish, perhaps it would be enough to do it that way:
- if a mail is shown as html, provide a button which loads all links on demand.
- store the "show as html" and "load external links" per mail, so the settings are automatically re-applied when viewing the message again.

Yes, it would be great if one could "load external links" on request. Especially those mail from a trusted source.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
