can add kde notifications to knode, like kmail when arrive a mail

Notification for what? Aren't new postings to be expected for every poll?

for example when arrive new msg on a subscribed newsgroup

I'd love to see notifications of two kinds:
1. A watched thread receives a new message
2. A thread with my own messages receives a new message
It would be soooo cool :-)))

Just wondering what the status of this wish is?  I don't see the ability using KNode 0.9.0 integrated with Kontact 1.1 on KDE 3.4.0 (Arch Linux 0.7), though I could be looking in the wrong places.

I would also add a wish to (be able to) notify, when someone answers me directly (not only in thread started by me).
