An option for starting kontact in systray would be nice. So you can start kontact through autostart without opening the full window.

Using KDE 3.4.0 on Gentoo gcc-3.4.3.
I agree. I've been looking all over for this small but - from the user side rather important - option. kstart or kontact or kmail with --iconify don't work for me.
