Description geoff 2004-07-22 22:05:28 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: RedHat RPMs
OS: Linux

This bug applies to pages consisting largely of text with no default width, i.e. text which is reformatted when you change the width of the main Konqueror window. If you open such a page in the same tab, e.g. by left-clicking a link, all is well. If you open it in a new tab, e.g. by middle-clicking or with Ctrl+Enter, the page width seems to be calculated differently and a horizontal scrollbar appears. This is annoying since you lose the rightmost character of long lines.

The same incorrect width is calculated if, after starting Konqueror and getting a blank starting page, you open such a text page with "Open location" or Ctrl+O.
