Kopete 0.8.4 appears to not be able to log into Yahoo again, at least here. Recently Rogers in Canada underwent a "parthership" with Yahoo, and since then I have been unable to log into Yahoo Messenger. I have attempted to connect to Yahoo with ymessage successfully.

The symptoms are the same as with the previous protocol change. Kopete keeps asking for the Yahoo password over and over again.

It appears this may be a localized issue as I seem to be the only one reporting this on v0.8.4. As such, if there is anything I can do to help troubleshoot the issue, please let me know.

The old bug has been fixed, if this bug would relate to the same protocol change, it would work with 0.8.4.

What does the maintainer say?

I took the moderately extreme step of erasing my Kopete Yahoo config and recreating it. It works again. I guess Kopete munged some Yahoo data coincidentally at the same time or something.
