Version:           kmail 1.6.2 (using KDE KDE 3.2.3)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMs
Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk) 
OS:                Linux

In kmail when click to make a search, the emails that appears, when right 
clicking in them dont appear an option to open them, or when double clicking 
them also doesnt open a new window with the email message, but only appears 
the email in the Kmail window.

Is possible now to add the option to open the a email window, or when double 
clicking?

You can open the result of a search as a folder (at the bottom of the dialog) and then simply double click on the messages in that folder to open them in a window. Does that help?

Till, I'm closing this one in favour of 69492, because that already contains a patch for this.
