Same problem with kdeartwork-3.3.0_beta2 (3.2.92). It was also reported here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58262 It should check with automake if the headers exists + (if they exists) --without-arts This should now be fixed in HEAD - will backport to 3.3 after 3.3.0 is released I don't suppose that there is any chance of this getting fixed for the 3.3.0 release? If not, there will be several Gentoo users who get bitten by this, because Portage (the Gentoo packaging system) now provides the option to not use arts with KDE. Thanks for your time so far. Then it's good Portage doesn't provide a way to kill someone! Whether the fix is included in 3.3.0 is coolo's decision - however, the fix may be incorporated into Gentoo - but that's a matter of discussion there. http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58822 I plan to commit these changes to the 3.3 branch soon unless someone tells me otherwise. Caleb fixed this in CVS HEAD; Caleb, can you also please backport to BRANCH |
