It would be nice if it were possible to select multiple messages in a folder in KMail (for example to delete them) with SHIFT and:
1) Up and down arrow
2) PageUp and PageUp keys.

Moving between messages is done with Left and Right keys.
up/down/pageup/pagedown are used for navigating in the message being displayed.
So what you want is already possible: using SHIFT + Left/Right arrows.
