Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux) 
OS:                Linux

There isn't an obvious option for searching within the location field of events. Perhaps there should be another "Search In" field added to the Find page for location.

I agree. This small patch allow to do a search looking on locations too.

I've tested and it work well.

I also want to ask togge if he will cleanup the searchdialog_base.ui. The layout needs some work.
