start a kde session and open kopete, while the kopete window is on the screen shade it (double click the title bar or rigth click the title bar->shade).  after the window has been shaded click the kopete icon on the systray and CRASH!!!   kwin dies.

From the crash the title window of all applications displayed on screen at the moment vanish and I can't select or move anything on the screen. I can type and do a ctrl-alt-backspace and type on a terminal if it was on the desktop before the crash.
