I would like to edit the url of the file that I am downloading. In others programs you can change the url of the file as sometimes I choose one server and as it is slow I change the url of the file to other server.

Good idea. I will put this on the KGet2 TODO list. Can be merged with wish #72534.

This is supported in trunk, what will become KDE 4.4.
