This is in CVS right now if you use the kate editor for kdevelop (by default you do). For the next release of KDE / KDevelop, you will be able to hit CTRL + TAB to format the current line or a selection of text. If you really want TAB to do this, just customize the 'Align' shortcut of katepart to suite your needs. |
