If we add a file to ~/Desktop (or configured one) folder in Konqueror, a save dialog or a non KDE app, corresponding icon appears *randomly* (or perhapse at the last clicked/delete file position... seem somewhat related but very blur).

It's bad : would be good if new icons could be added by row or column !

Even worst : it's not rare that new icons *push* existing ones !
I really hate that : I group my icons by "visual groups" and hate when I should relocate them !
The add icon process should never change icon places (note : I have "auto alignment on grid" actived).

Is it grave doctor ? ;-)

Bug closed. Kdesktop is no more mantained.
