You can turn it off.
Settings / Configure KMail / Composer / Attachments (last tab), see the checkbox there.
The multitude of configure options for kmail perhaps makes it hard to find, but this is an important productivity feature that makes the software work for you. If Microsoft implements something like that, all power to them. end_rant;; /me feels stupid now how do i delete this bug |
