I noticed the Kernel always disables DMA when the eject fails, because of an i/o timeout. But also with DMA=off, the eject does not work immediately at the end of burning progress. I disabled eject in K3B and I use now the eject command instead without any problems. *** Bug has been marked as fixed ***. I like to add the information that the problem disappeared on my notebook after replacing the DVD burner by a different one. I replaced it because the number of read errors increased withing the last month. |
