This works for me in 3.4 please feel free to reopen if you still see the problem in 3.4 or later I have just installed a current Kubuntu, including kmail 1.9.1 on KDE 3.5.2. On that system, degrees are irrelevent for the auto-completition. So, the actual bug has been fixed. However, you now need to enter the name without any degrees. For some situations (e.g. when addressing some professors), I wish that I could type a degree, then seeing a list of all people in my address book with that degree. So, when you create a new message and you start off with "Dr.", a list of those persons having that degree should appear. I'd say this would be the most user-friendly solution here. Changed title accordingly Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. |
