Sentry Crash Report:

Description John Belmonte 2004-05-12 07:36:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Since I upgraded to 3.2.2, I get an automatic logout when my battery hits the critical trigger.

I see there is a new "System State Change" feature, but obviously it's broken, since I have it set to None for both low and critical triggers, yet the logout is still happening.

My system uses ACPI, and I have the klaptopdaemon ACPI helper disabled, although I don't see how any of that should matter.

From what version did you upgrade: KDE 3.2.x or KDE 3.1.x?
In the latter case you might try the workaround suggested in #76961:
- Select a diffrent item under "System State Change"
- Apply
- Select "None" under "System State Change"
- Apply

I have personally contacted the KLaptopDaemon author/assigned and he confirmed that the tool is deprecated in KDE SC 4 (replaced by PowerDevil) and that there are no current efforts to support/maintain the KDE SC 3 version.
Because of this, I will close the reports as UNMAINTAINED.
