when i change to a different resolution via xrandr the window sizes and positions are adjusted for obvious reasons. however, it would be nice if kwin saved the last sizes/positions and restored them when returning to the particular resolution. i'm not sure this should be absolute, but i think any explicit window geometry changes in one resolution should not affect the saved values for any other resolution at all, so one can have completely different desktop layouts in different resolutions.

Kwin even don't restore positions of windows which have "forced" position set in their properties
