i believe i have seen something like 'global toolbar' or something that is always on top and hides on one side of the screen, this would be very nice for kopete so you could always have your contact list avaible by simple moving your mouse to the border of the screen (maybe work has already begun on this). Another problem which would be solved by this is that the kopete window isn't as high as the whole screen and it really bugs me that I can't get it exactly as high as it should be. (though this is more of cosmetic nature..)
