Version:           0.11.9 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          gcc-2.95.3 
OS:          Linux

k3b startup time was slow, so i clicked the icon multiple times. at last i switched to the console and started another session from there.

in the end i had 4 or 5 k3b's running. the console one outputting the following:

k3b: WARNING: KGenericFactory: instance requested but no instance name passed to the constructor!

well, perhaps this is my misconception.

it was my belief that only one instance of k3b should be possible...
similar to kmail - feel free to close this, if this in fact is wanted behavior...

I already thought about that and decided to allow multible instances since it's possible to run k3b multible times and even perform multible tasks.
