Description heikki 2004-04-25 00:42:22 UTC
Version: 0.7.7 (using KDE 3.2.1, Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031218 (Gentoo Linux 3.3.2-r5, propolice-3.3-7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.1

It would be nice if KNode could load the next article while I am reading the current one.

This should be optional, but on by default. Perhaps in a bit limited way: If I click on an article, just load it, as I am obviously reading only selected articles. But if I hit space for next article, chances are good that I will do so again, and it would make sense to start loading the next article already.

It would nice if the preloading could be aborted the moment I decide to go for some other article than the one being preloaded...

This would be especially useful on a slow connection and/or in newsgroups with lots of large binary attachments, typically pictures (with lots of bare skin :-)

Keep up the good work

  Heikki

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug.
