Thank your for your bug report! We are trying to translate for non-pc experts too. Even if "CD-Image" is widely accepted in applications by german users it does not mean there's no translation neccessary. There are very rare cases for not translating a so called "common term". The only reason for this is when there's no german term available. This is not the case here. An "Image" is exactly what we translate it to. It's an "Abbild". So there's IMHO no reason to change the translation resp. leave it untranslated even if this translation is not the one a common windows/linux/Mac user would expect to see. If there are no objections by the rest of the team I close this bugreport.
