I just filed this issue as bug 79835 under konqueror/sidebar but I'm not sure if it's really a sidebar issue or rather related to kio_camera.

Essentially, accessing camera:/ from konqueror's sidebar does not work properly. Please see bug #79835 for details.

…which is closed now.

Next time, just ask for the bug to be refiled to the appropriate component, because otherwise keeping both bugs in sync might be forgotten (for 14 years, in this case ;)
