Description Ilya Korniyko 2004-04-13 09:55:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: Compiled From Sources
Compiler: gcc version 3.2.2 20030222 (ASPLinux 3.2.2-5asp)
OS: Linux

After installing kernel 2.6.5 (I used 2.4.20 redhat based before), sometimes when i click desktop icon to launch something (firefox, kppp, gqview, wine app), some of minimized windows becomes maximized immediately (Konsole window).
Application launches normally

I get this, as well; it's been happening since 3.2.0. On my box, at least, kernel version doesn't matter (tested on 2.4.22 and 2.6.4).
Only certain apps exhibit this behavior: fire up Konsole and minimize it. Now open Konqi -- boink! Konsole pops back up. Works in reverse, as well.
On my box, executing OpenOffice will also draw this behavior.

KDE 3.2.1 (Gentoo package)
Konqueror 3.2.1 (Gentoo package)
Konsole 1.3.1 (Gentoo package)
gcc version 3.3.3 20040217 (Gentoo package)

Any and all debug / configs / etc. cheerily supplied.

Can you reproduce the problem with any other application than Konsole?
Comment 3 Ilya Korniyko 2004-04-20 14:53:59 UTC
Maybe kernel is not important for me too. This is when i minimize clicking on show desktop button, so this is dublicate of http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67406
