Kuickshow offers me a very cool way to browse the photos I just downloaded from my camera still, and can even rotate the photos for the vertical photo I took and I can save the photo with this modification which is really easy, I don't need to start gimp for a simple rotation and it's a great feature.
The problem is I can't find the way to tell the compression level when using Save As option, perhaps I didn't look well but I think this is not yet implemented. I think it would be cool for the user to define this for the different file formats. Personaly, I prefer to keep the best quality possible, but when I save back a photo with kuickshow, it drops from 500Ko to 150Ko, and I can see the quality lost. Perhaps other guys will tell that they like to set the quality of the photo depending what the photo is, so I guess that the best way to do is to let the quality slice in the file manager dialog when using Save As, so it is possible to choose for every photo or to leave it at the last quality setting used. I don't know c++ otherwise I would have submit a patch. BTW: hope there will be a day where it would be possible to do kuickshow plugins in python ! ;-)
