Hi,

With a large playlist, if I select some of the songs, such that inter-selected- song-spacing (in the playlist) is >5 songs (approx) the passive taskbar popup rapidly flashes "Noatun - Stopped" for as many songs it is forwarding through (because they are de-selected in the playlist). Definitely quite annoying. For fewer songs it must be happenning, but is not as noticeable.

For example, if I select songs #1,6,11,12,14,19,22,24,25 from a playlist of 30, then the annoying popups happen at 1->6, 6->11, 14->19, etc. 12->14 is not as bad.

This _may_ be similar/related to Bug 73230, I don't know for sure. Doesn't look like it though.

Regards,
Hrishikesh

noatun has not been part of the KDE 4 release and is no longer maintained.

KDE now offers Dragon as a video player and JuK as a music player. Additionally, other popular KDE players have been ported to KDE 4, such as Amarok or Kaffeine.

If this issue is still applicable to KDE 4 applications, please add a comment or file a new report.
