Bug 78532

Version:           2.0.1 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1KDE 1.2)
Installed from:    Mandrake RPMsMandrake RPMs

During verify of backup I maximized and minimized 
verify messages window and after verify
I got very strange result.
There are differences reported on list
and "0 differences" reported on upper status line.

In this case I know about differences
_before_ I did verification, because 
there are Kdat's own data files in the
backup and so there must be a difference.
But any other case?
Can I trust on status line or must I
manually verify whole list?

- button/switch "Show lines with diffs only"

I took snapshoot of this screen because I myself 
cann't belive so strange behavior. 
There are three differences showed on list and
summary line shows "Differences: 0". Huh!

Yes, it's only bug report, it isn't crashes,
but IMHO it's more severe than crash.
Do a backup, verify it, 0 differences showed.
OK, backup is good. Really? Can I trust it?
No? Untrustable backup is as good as no backup.

I tryied to reproduce this bug, but w/o success.
Second time with continued maximize/resize of
status window, third time not touching it.
Both cases report 14 differences (no important
ones, all of them are expected diffs).

But I have snapshoot, taked _after_ verify.
