Sentry Crash Report:

Description M G Berberich 2004-03-26 19:18:24 UTC
Version: 1.3 (using KDE 3.2.0, (3.0))
Compiler: gcc version 2.95.4 20011002 (Debian prerelease)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.4

Setting the option "Show terminal size after resizing" makes konsole display a little window that shows the current size during resize operation. This window is located in the center of the konsole, the same place kwin (and a lot of other windowmangers) display their window showing the size and position of the window during resizing and so hiding the konsoles window, making it unreadable. (kwin option: "Display window geometry when moving or resizing")
They are not redundant, because kwin shows position and size in pixel while konsole shows size in characters.

The size-window should be moved, p.e. to the top-left edge of konsole.
