When the little yellow autocomplete box comes up describing the function you are using (not the one that lists possible variable and function names) there is no way to make it go away except to move the cursor elsewhere. This is a problem since it often covers up other code that may be helpful to look at. You should be able to press ESC to get it to go away.

I can confirm this problem...it also stops you from using the alt tab key combination for alternating windows

Confirmed in 3.4, somehow the tooltip doesn't go when pressing ESC.

fixed in kdev4 where the tooltip doesn't exist anymore and the code-completion has largely changed.
