Version:           3.0.2 (using KDE 3.2.0, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.2.3 20030422 (Gentoo Linux 1.4 3.2.3-r4, propolice)
OS:          Linux (ppc) release 2.4.24-ben1

Build toolbar should have a "build and run" button.

Currently one need to click on "build", wait for the red light to shut off and click on "run". Unproductive for the classical "modify-build-test" cycle.

If you select 
Project-> Project Options ... > Run Options -> Automaticaly compile before Run

Then you click run, it builds first.
