Description Frank Luithle 2004-03-12 23:45:21 UTC
Version: 1.6.1 (using KDE 3.2.1, (testing/unstable))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.3 (Debian)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.2

I would like to have the option to move read messages in IMAP folders to another folder automatically when KMail exits and/or I switch to a different folder (this is very much what 'Mutt' does with the Inbox folders and other folders for which an appropriate 'mbox-hook' has been specified).

I would also like to be able to specify, on a per-folder basis, what should be done to read messages (e.g. 'delete them', 'move them to IMAP folder xyz', 'expire them' etc.)
(See my remark on what 'Mutt' can do above, it's more or less exactly that.)

At the moment, cleaning up of IMAP folders is an annoyance to say the least...

Hm, expiry works for imap folders now, and that can also be used to move read mail away. I guess that resolves this issue?

No answer in four years probably means "yes"
